When will my order arrive?

Raubdruckerin is a very small company. We cannot deliver within 2 or 3 days like big online shops. Normally we need between 5 and 10 working days for delivery (plus shipping time – see below). Please keep this in mind if you ordering something for a gift. We can get it done sooner sometimes, but if you have a “deadline” please message us first to be sure we can fulfill it.

We ship with the “Deutsche Post” the german postal service. The stated shipping times below are standard shipping times. Shipment on islands and in rural or areas difficult, as well as special import regulations – depending on the country of destination – can lead to longer shipping times.

  • Germany 1 to 3 working days
  • USA & Canada 3 to 8 working days
  • west and central Europe 2 to 5 working days
  • south and east Europe 3 to 7 working days
  • Scandinavia 2 to 5 working days
  • middle East 6 to 10 working days
  • Africa 6 to 12 working days
  • Japan 3 to 6 working days
  • China 6 to 14 working days
  • Australia 6 to 9 working days
  • Latin America 8 to 16 working days

Why are not all the products availabe?

We are just a small team and we are against mass production. All our products are handprinted in the original position of the manhole cover to print. Thats why our production is always limited to a small series. If you like our approach you have to be patient sometimes. To stay informed about our next printings and new products, you are welcome to follow us on Facebook and/or sign up for our Newsletter below.

When will a certain product be available again?

It is difficult to give precise information on that. We don’t know when we’ll go to Amsterdam or Lisbon or Paris next time and when we go we will maybe print only a small series. Of course we would like to go as much as possible to different cities to print, but it’s not always possible.

Can I get notified when a certain product becomes available again?

Yes! If you are interested in a certain print that is not available, you can subscribe to it on the product page with your e-mail address to get notified when it becomes available again. You have to select a size and color first to see the subscription field on variable products like t-shirts and hoodies.

Could you print in a certain city?

It is also difficult to give precise information on that. We will definitely be on the road again and it’s possible that we’ll also print in your favorite city. We announce all our expeditions beforehand via Facebook and Newsletter. So make sure to follow us on Facebook and/or sign up for our Newsletter below to stay updated.

Can i wash the raubdruckerin products?

Yes. All our products are of course washable. We have a few tips though about how to take good care of the hand printed raubdruckerin products: Wash your products at 30° C, don’t use bleach or other strong detergent products, use a mild detergent and turn your products inside out before washing. Do not put your products in a hot dryer and wash similar clothes together.

What kind of ink do you use?

We are mixing our paint ourselves with a basic paste for textiles and pigments. It is water based, environmentally friendly and washable after fixing.

Soon we will be offering a DIY-“be a pirate printer”-kit with detailed instructions!

Can’t I just try printing myself?

For all non-commercial purposes Yes, but please respect the following points from our Manifesto:

  • The spirit of this project is to be critical of mass production and to not support huge profit-driven corporations with a “whatever the cost” attitude, that exploit cheap labour and the environment!
  • Thats why: “upcycle” your old T-Shirt or use good quality, fair traded garments only.
  • very important: always clean everything that you put paint on very carefully! That’s crucial for the future of this movement.
  • Please also read and follow the notices/instructions for your paint carefully for a correct cleaning!
