This is a screen print RE-edition of our print made during a street printing journey to Rome back in 2018.
It is made from a very special Roman manhole cover dated to the year 1897. One of the oldest we’ve ever printed on. We are very proud to have found it in the beautiful neighborhood of Pigneto. It belongs to the ancient Aqueduct Aqua Marcia. The longest of 11 Aqueducts of Rome, which supply the city with water till today.
Under the motif, we have printed the coordinates of manhole covers location. For those who want to visit it on site.
